Get started with GMVify Custom Product Options

Install the app, add the block to your theme and create your first option set.

GMVify Custom Product Options (shown in your admin as GMVify Product Options) adds custom fields to product pages: text, choices, swatches, photo uploads and more, with add-on prices.

Before you start

  • The app needs an Online Store 2.0 theme (one that supports app blocks).

  • Every feature is free, including add-on prices, the checkout check for required fields, order checks, file uploads and machine translation.

Steps

  1. Install GMVify Custom Product Options from the Shopify App Store and open it from your admin.

  2. Add the GMVify options block to your product page. The app opens the theme editor with the block added; click Save.

  3. Create an option set: start from a template for your trade or from scratch, and add the fields shoppers fill in.

  4. Under Products, choose where it shows, then click Save.

  5. Open one of those products in your store: the fields show above Add to cart.
